Now how did you get to the bedroom? At least that's what this must be, since you finally found what feels like a bed right in front of you. It's just that it seems much lower than what you remember. But here again, memory is a malleable thing, like an image in a program like Photoshop.

The bed gives you your bearings; from here you should be able to find your way out to the hall and from there to the den for the flashlight. Or maybe you'd better get to the kitchen first, but something else is more pressing.
