When Jimmy was four he had a bedroom that he shared with a monkey who lived under his bed. Sometimes the monkey wouldn't sleep and he'd wake Jimmy up to play games. That was okay with Jimmy, but when he got sleepy and wanted to stop, the monkey wouldn't let him.

Then Jimmy, exhausted and cranky would cry and his mom or his dad would come in to see what all the noise was about, though Jimmy thought it more likely what drew them was the tuba the monkey would play.

And Jimmy would tell them.
