"Man, she's a beauty!" said Craig.
The fish flopped and danced like a gypsy on the grassy slope. One eye, then the other in turn, staring up in angry defiance of the hook, annoyance at the interruption of its meal.
"Yeah, this one's supper and then some," Jimmy said. "Mom will be happy with this one."
"If you fillet it first," said Craig. The fish wriggled harder and faster at the word 'fillet' and both boys laughed.
Jimmy had a hard time grabbing hold of the fish and Craig had to take out the hook as Jimmy held the fish tight with both hands.
