Personally, John didn't care what she looked like. He'd seen a picture of her in the paper when she first climbed up and she looked sort of chubby. He couldn't tell if she was pretty or not from the photo.

"You lost some weight," he said.

"Well, duh!"

"I mean, well, like, I wouldn't recognize you from the newspaper."

"I was in the newspaper?"

"Yeah. The week you climbed up here."

"And then they abandoned me. Me and the tree. Who care's about causes anymore."
