Windows used to be for looking out at the green and yellow world of day. There is such movement. People move like bugs in search of something--food or rides or if they're heading here, knowledge and entertainment. The sun separates the leaves of giant maples to reach the ground in glints and gleams.

At night, the windows let in the stars and moon to flicker on the rugs and floors as the maple leaves play peek-a-boo games with their light. Under the streetlights the color of the day huddles in a circle.
