Ruth Adams was one of the temp clowns who was most often called back by the hospital because the kids liked her a lot. She wore a wild hot pink wig and a bright flowered tutu and painted huge rosebud lips on her whiteface.

Another favorite was Jack Henckel who dressed up and barked like a vertical dauschshaund.
