Harold and Helene discussed the renovations and repairs.

"Well you know," she said, "if you've only got a few more years before you retire and now that the kids are gone, maybe we should do that addition we've always wanted.

"But that involves a lot of material," he said, "and labor. I'm not as young as I used to be."

"But now's the time, don't you think?"

He thought about it. "Yeah, I suppose we should."
