Detroit is a city mixed and yet a subtlety itself. It is a cupcake with pink icing and sprinkles. Inside the cupcake is a chocolate filling of such depth and richness that one cannot tell if its sweetness is palatable or poison.

Within this treat are people who can live in this environment and thrive. And some who nibble at the edges of the city in search of sustenance and manage to hold on to the memory. Devin and Joseph are brothers from both ends of the spectrum.
