{"id":2775,"date":"2010-05-26T08:53:11","date_gmt":"2010-05-26T13:53:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/susangibb.net\/blog2\/?p=2775"},"modified":"2010-05-26T08:54:39","modified_gmt":"2010-05-26T13:54:39","slug":"tinderbox-building-blocks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/susangibb.net\/blog2\/2010\/05\/tinderbox-building-blocks\/","title":{"rendered":"TINDERBOX: Building Blocks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"drop\">O<\/span>kay, so there are only five stories written so far but the pattern of themes has already started to establish itself:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/susangibb.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/052610t.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2776\" title=\"052610t\" src=\"https:\/\/susangibb.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/052610t.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"456\" srcset=\"https:\/\/susangibb.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/052610t.jpg 981w, https:\/\/susangibb.net\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/052610t-300x189.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/a>In first level writing and literature, we&#8217;re taught the dearth of plots and the general concept of &#8220;man versus man,&#8221; etc. What I think this series of summer stories may be based upon is struggle and the adversary determines the &#8220;type&#8221; of story, here separated by color and Adornment names of <em>Self, Relationships, <\/em>and<em> Society<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>There may naturally be additions made as time goes on, as a theme such as war, for example, may go under any of these but just might call for a new category such as <em>Event<\/em>, or <em>Future<\/em>, etc. <a href=\"http:\/\/eastgate.com\/tinderbox\/index.html\">Tinderbox<\/a> allows for building into a cohesive whole and though I&#8217;m just beginning, I&#8217;m hoping that something doesn&#8217;t strike me halfway through as a better organizational layout.
