{"id":433,"date":"2007-11-06T16:15:07","date_gmt":"2007-11-06T23:15:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/susangibb.net\/blog2\/?p=433"},"modified":"2007-11-06T16:15:07","modified_gmt":"2007-11-06T23:15:07","slug":"storyspace-writing-opportunities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/susangibb.net\/blog2\/2007\/11\/storyspace-writing-opportunities\/","title":{"rendered":"STORYSPACE: Writing opportunities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"drop\">T<\/span>o better explain by example, though I don&#8217;t show the take-off points&#8211;the source links, here&#8217;s just some random bits of the writing I&#8217;ve done in the past couple of days on a story that to me, had been complete long ago:<\/p>\n<blockquote dir=\"ltr\">\n<div><em><\/em><\/div>\n<div><em>I mean really, when your child asks you for anything, anything at all, in that sweet lyrical language, well, how cool is that?<\/em><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div><em><\/em><\/div>\n<div><em><\/em><\/div>\n<div><em><\/em><\/div>\n<div><em>&quot;I looked down and saw it&#8211;for that was all I could bear to call its name.&nbsp; But I will know it forever by its body and&nbsp; its&nbsp; face though never in my life see it again.<\/em><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><em><\/em><\/div>\n<div><em>Only the wind.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">&nbsp; <\/span>Moving life on.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">&nbsp; <\/span>What don\u2019t get sucked down into the earth should move on.<\/em><\/div>\n<div><em><\/em><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">These are unrelated in the narrative, yet related to the underlying story being told.&nbsp; Even I&#8217;m discovering more each time I read it; more to be examined, more to be told.
