Well, today is a good day. I am learning how to read comic books. I am, of course, referring to the aforementioned Watchmen which up until 11:30 sucked big time, but after which doesn’t suck quite so badly. I must learn to take the necessary time to learn new things (new, that is, as adult reading vs. the comic books of my childhood). Interactive Fiction was more exciting, even through the frustration, because you were actively inputting and trying new things in order to progress, instead of having to go back just to understand what was going on. I still don’t foresee my loving the format, but am more willing to understand and appreciate it.
