Hypercompendia

The Tunxis team is at it again with the 100 Stories Project planned as a one-a-day for 100 days output of a combination of talent offered in a diverse area of artistry. All are story in some form: narrative text, music, paintings, digital manipulation, images, poetry, j-query, meals. It’s an ambitious undertaking and has drawn creativity from all sectors and grown into a commitment on the part of all those involved. While the individual work is at each artist’s site (check listing in the sidebar), the central group page is at 100 Stories Project.  The project officially begins on May 22nd, 2009 and will continue for 100 days through the summer.

Meanwhile, my own contribution to the group effort is “Flash Fiction Hypertext,” a series of 100 short hypertext stories which I’ll use both as an offering and as an exercise in learning the hypertext environment and getting more familiar with its possibilities.

Here’s a quick hypertext I made up of the project, A Taste of  Summer, that shows sample work of each participant, a link to each work via the image, a link to each artist’s site via their name, and the final work links back to the central site at Steve Ersinghaus’ Netvibes.
