LITERATURE: Incoming!

Ohboyohboyoboy! Just received notification from Amazon that my order has been shipped. We won’t go into the philosophical aspect of the physical act of purchase since that’s being debated on The Great Lettuce Head, but here’s what I’m getting in: McCarthy’s The Border Trilogy and Suttree, Atwood’s Alias Grace, The Best American Short Stories, and The Best American Mystery Stories. I’m psyched! Most likely I won’t even get to read them until Christmas, but being the type who gets off on just the physical touch of paper and the desire to accumulate wealth through ownership, I’ll be spending a couple of days looking anxiously out for the UPS man.
