I’ve noticed a great many bloggers slowing down in their writing, and secretly envy the fact that they are instead most likely wrapping presents and sipping cognac in the light from their gleaming golden Christmas tree.
Not me. I have only the next 36 hours to complete the framing of just as many pictures and I’m trying to guess who’s going to walk through the store door first. I have put off two customers who brought items that require engineering skills to complete framing, and who finally admitted that they didn’t need the pieces for Christmas and after all, they’ve been sitting in their closets for three years already anyhow. I do try to get everything done to be picked up before the holidays however, because after all this time in business, I know that paying off the Christmas bills precludes their coming back to get their stuff until April.
I’m still blogging however, because I need it to keep my sanity.
