Well this entry marks my two hundred and fifty-first post to Spinning (not counting the thirty-five or so that I’ve wisely deleted as useless whining) and also the two-month anniversary of this weblog. Is that prolific or what?
Although I’ve seen so many, many weblogs run out of steam and eventually just close down (feel the sharp pang of the page “This page no longer available” when clicking “Everything for Writers.com”) I’m hopeful that I have the determination and incentive to go on until someone walks in to find “qpo3$58K*2ohfd;ln” on the monitor and my hands frozen in rigor mortis on the keyboard.
The good news is that in my web travels I have found so many, many blogs that show archives several years old. This is all the encouragement that I need.
