REALITY?: Happiness is…

…opening up the frameshop this morning and finding that the half-filled coffeepot didn’t freeze.

Unfortunately, Shop Computer still hasn’t adjusted to the cold nights, and is taking his time to rouse, grumbling low within his belly his discontent and reluctance.

Writing is dependent on mood–both of the writer’s and his tools of trade. I must be out in the shop to finish up a job I’m working on–a lovely large piece of tatting–but I want to tell you more about the eagles I’ve been seeing, and an article on the current clichés to avoid.

A’ll be back.

I’m probably being too fanciful but I do like the sound of your days. I know we all have our problems, so you likely have yours. But the thought of waking up each day and padding a few yards away, to open the doors of my own business, sounds like fun. Add to that thought that the business you are in is creative and in your free time you blog and write. Yeah, sounds pretty neat to me.

Yes, I am lucky. I’m ashamed of myself for bitching so much about my life sometimes when I truly have a lot of freedom. The money isn’t great, but it’s sufficient, and my husband fortunately has a good-paying position with the medical benefits that have become so important to us all these days. My work is often boring, but I meet some wonderful people and see some amazing artwork. Sure wish I had a better heating system set up in the shop though!
