BLOGGING: A Writer’s Testimonial

Just about every blogger has been pushed into blogging by another blogger (and yes, I still hate the word; it sounds so distasteful and low-class slang).

We rehashed the whys and why we continue and I’m sure will do so every few months out of guilt over the time we spend upon it. I’ve given up television, some sleep, and perfect A’s in all my classes. For me, it’s worth it. If you’ve given up feeding the kids, sending them out of the house in the same clothes they’ve worn for three days, and you can’t find the TV through the grey haze of dust, then maybe you need to reconsider priorities (I said, “maybe”).

But here at Epitath is one of the nicest and most honest revelations of the blogging effect on writing that I’ve yet read. D. was pushed into this world, just as the rest of us, and I’m glad she was.
