WRITING & BLOGGING: A Quick Recovery

Joe seems to be right back on track and hit his stride at The Word Foundry. There is a most interesting and informative article he has posted that is a very valuable read to all writers—and do follow the links to Cindy Harrison’s Blog and the essay by Elmore Leonard.

This quick recovery contrasts with lyrics from a Waylon Jennings’song that goes something like this:

“Women do know how to carry on
Won’t be much cryin’ time when you’re gone”

I don’t know if Joe realizes how much we writers depend upon him for insight into the writer’s life of ups and downs, and with his personal touch of giving us a glimpse into his reality as well, I sure missed him for the couple days he needed to be free of us!

Thanks for the kind words about the Foundry. I think sometimes I get so wrapped up in using it to preserve my sanity that I forget I actually have readers out there…

Jeez, Joe, I hope everyone reads your comment. You put into just that one sentence exactly what everyone seems to have been going through lately and the reason they do!
