No, I haven’t been in the best of moods lately and as my mother taught me, if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all. Even the most mundane problem–the water in the cellar from the leak last Saturday that we’ve been bailing out all week has thrown me a curve ball. Didn’t realize there was another leak. After finding it late yesterday, and a cold night with the water and heat shut off, the plumber should be here any minute, again.
Missed my second Spanish class last night because I just don’t have the head for it right now, but a very understanding Professor talked me out of dropping the course and I’ll have to get my ass in gear to catch up. Depressing, because I’ve never in my life let my responsibilities slide before.
But on the bright side, I bring you The Far Side. It’s always been my favorite, and on the site, Worth 1000 – Far Side 5, there’s a great way of using Gary Larson’s cartoons, or making some up in his style in a fun way. Got this link from J-Walk Blog, who always seems to come up with some of the most interesting links and I thank him profusely and gushingly; I really needed to laugh again.
