REALITY?: Orts

Just some quickies for now; random annoying brain plinks that I need to dispense with before getting onto the heavier stuff.

Noticed TypePad’s new logo. I hope I’m guessing right that it’s a lilypad?

Opened the dictionary to check spelling and it opened up initially to Che Guevara’s picture. He’s kinda hunky looking, si o no?

My youngest niece, Jessica who is somewheres in no-man’s land on the West Coast and needs to take a ferry to work every day stopped into Spinning last night. Even though I have encouraged my family to read this, I’m wondering if it will adversely affect her life to see too much of her roots…

En espaƱol, received back the first draft of my first attempt at a poem conceived and written in Spanish. Now I need my English Professor to check the poetics of it…

Want to answer comments here, but what always holds me back is seeing the Comment Category showing “Susan on…” all the way down the list. It looks like either I’m talking to myself or have a compulsion to always have the last word. So sometimes I’ll answer you via e-mail instead.

Although I lived a very short portion of my life as a piece of fluff, I’m not truly an ultra-frilly type of woman, and have often admitted here to both admiring and hopefully displaying what are generally considered more masculine traits and tendencies. Is this perhaps why I often go off half-cocked?

I’ll be back in a bit; I’m trying to gather the swirling mass hovering above me into some semblance of profundity. Or is it a net…?
