SELF ANALYSIS: Another Quizella

Swore I wouldn’t do any more of these, but I do find them fascinating. This one, Whose Soul Mate are You?

You have a dramatic personality and a fascination
with the bizarre so it’s no wonder your
literary soulmate is Edgar Allan Poe. Poe lived
a tragic life, burdened by heavy alcoholism and
the death of his young wife but in spite of his
problems, managed to revolutionize the horror
story and create the detective story genre.

Too lazy to put this up on Wanderlust. This is what they said about me:

“Your sense of adventure and independence would fit right in with the ideals of Ernest Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald. These expatriates in Paris were members of the ‘Lost Generation’, a hard-partying band of Americans who boozed their way across the European continent. The Lost Generation weren’t all about partying though; in their work, they explored themes of depression and loss. Call it effects of the hangover.”

So there you go. I’m a hard nosed drunk who can’t think straight when I’m sober. This is great!

Well I must admit, absinthe is a bit above your rowdy rum and whiskey drinking lifestyle. However, in your weaving way across the globe (this IS you, you know!) stop in the flophouses and check the bunks for me and say hello.
