WRITING: Worth Repeating

Again, a gem from Joe at The Word Foundry in today’s posting:

“What it all boils down to is this: for a writer, it isn’t the idea. It’s what you do with the idea once you have it.”
But besides this, and besides the list of 37 plots that both of us have listed on our sites, he compares some of the top selling books and movies as to plot, story, and character, that prove his point.
