Nice to know you’re not alone. Typepad’s bloggers are indeed still suffering from sluggish loading in almost all areas–posting and reading included, so please be patient, if you haven’t clicked past us already. Typepad’s growing, because of its normally excellent service and quality. But as more folks sign on, the system may be on overload, which makes some of the longtimers consider making a move. Hopefully, all will be fixed and up to par soon.
It’s very frustrating for a spontaneous writer. As a thought comes through, we want it down and sealed in pixels for immediate gratification. But then, couldn’t we learn to use this time to recover the lost art of editing that blogging has encouraged?
I, for one, don’t want to. I am surely revising, editing, picking, tossing, adding to any other writing that I do, but on blogging? You wouldn’t see half the stuff you read here if I did.
