LITERATURE: “afternoon, a story”

A hypertext fiction story by Michael Joyce, “afternoon, a story” is something I was antsy to play with, and found a couple minutes tonight to do just that.

I’m not sure how I feel about it yet. Just getting used to the rather simplistic format (compared to what’s available these days, and what I’ve seen just online in brief surfing around–this was written in 1987, produced and copyrighted by Eastgate Systems in 1992).

With my poor sense of direction, I tended to drift a bit and perhaps need more serious time put into focusing on negotiating the links in a more planned out method.

I’ll play with it some more.
