REALITY & NEW MEDIA: Accumulation, Storage, Tossing Out

The fascination with the notion of a computer as a brain continues. That is where I’ve been for days. Thinking, clicking, marking words to seed the paths. Seeking out the best in all of human technology. A new computer when one can no longer be upgraded; thankfully, the brain can always be.

Delete buttons wipe out words no longer true; files to hold them if they serve for learning. Like synapses firing off within the human brain the ideas somehow know just where to go and settle for retrieval, a My Explorer that is alive. RAM memory, add more modules. Buy the best you can afford.

Learning is a never ending process; resistance useless as is complacency or any other form of no ambition. Knowledge comes regardless of the fences; tunnels underground to the subconscious or flies above to nest within the outer boughs. It’s there, it always will be. Waiting for the time it’s taken out to look deeper into at another time. Or in some, and sometimes, ignored forever; never taken out and dusted off to comprehend. But we must scandisk the hard drive of our mind eventually. Or else, we slow down to a logie crawl that frustrates and inhibits space for further exploration; further delving and developing and discussion with ourselves.

New media brings the awareness of the thoughts in layers. Teaches us to tie them all together into a symbolic whole. The music for the dancing serves as background just as easily for ponder, and for all the movies constantly running on the monitor, on the mind.
