Today has been a sit-down day. Fingers working with the mind. The mind on many paths. Software is the vehicle that bounces me along.
Today, I have used: Minitab, Powerpoint, Word, Adobe Photo Deluxe, Internet Explorer, Windows Explorer, Outlook Express, Agfa Scanwise, Corel Print House, HP Deskjet, Media Player, and of course, an occasional mind-relaxing foray into Hoyle Puzzle Games in a twelve-hour marathon of computerizing.
I am a zombie in the world of the living on this Halloween night. I have answered the rapping at my door, with crazed eyes and a large red bowl of chocolates. Indeed, I lurch to the door, my back askew with the chair I have rarely left for longer than a few moments. My face is pastey from the lack of sun. My eyeballs shot through with red lines from staring at the screen. I have scared many, especially the young ones.
Is it the way I look? The intensity of purpose etched upon my face? Or is it in fact the mirror I offer them in this new technologically run world.
Uh -oh, sounds like it’s time for an intervention!
Get some rest! Or at least eat some of that candy.
Hi Loretta! I’m so backed up on reading you–just keep clicking the “mark unread” button in bloglines (that means you’re special). Nice to see that the candy caught your attention. I’ll be over to see you soon. Thought of you when my hubbie brought home a pomie for me!
