So this is the first official entry from my new laptop. And I screwed it up–pressed the wrong buttons and sent it out there into cyberspace with the title TECHNOLOGY spelled wrong, and a blank entry. But I’m fixing it here.
One wonderful thing I just found out: I’m typing this from the kitchen where I was just kinda playin’ around and went to set up my Outlook Express account and guess what? The damn thing noticed that my router in the den was wireless and picked right up on it! Good thing, too, because I was all set to start drilling holes in the floors of the living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom to run the cable connection.
I LOVE this little machine !

Congratulations on your new laptop! You’ll never (ever) go back. My old desk top has been relegated to be the holder of ancient photo files. I think laptops are high tech AND high touch. Really fun. Enjoy!
I think you should still drill a few holes just so you get the satisfaction of hearing that mechanical “whirrrrr” that quickens the pulse.
