The seminar presentation was very good. The class that picked up from there is not something I really should talk about until I settle down. Let’s just say, I was about to walk out when the instructor suggested we call it a night.
One thing I’ve confimed to myself; I will not plan on attending classes with a majority of idiot teens who talk to each other in private conversation throughout a class, one of whom had earlier in the day sought my advice on what she should do about a paper (one of only two) that was due last week that she hadn’t and didn’t want to do. These are the same children who whine and bug the professor about getting the exams right away because they’re worried all of them will be due last minute–which looks to be the case because we’re a good century behind, and then ask dumb questions totally unrelated to either the previous presentation or the work we’re supposed to cover. Nor will I have any sympathy for professors who are either too intimidated or liberal-minded to demand respect and attention in their class.
Yes, I’m fed up.
