As I play Solitaire or Freecell between writing or framing, I’m wondering why I can keep going back to these–for years, even–and still play them. I can’t do that with Silent Hill 2–though I do need to because I haven’t "finished" it, and I am getting to the end of my attention span with Trip and Grace.
Facade, however, has offered something that most video games don’t; it can be played again and again and new things keep coming up, changing the outcome, changing the whole scenario, and that scenario is just a very small segment in the life of Trip and Grace, limited to a single visit to their apartment.
