When I started this weblog, my blurb said something about "spinning tales, spinning my wheels, spinning out of control." Well, while Spinning the Blog has over the years touched on all three, I’ve tried lately to keep it literary oriented in reading, if not always in writing depending upon the creative muses and their finger-poking of inspiration. And lately, they seem to be busy typing out their own life stories. However, in my reality, the latter two spinning styles have become a way of life.
Throw another lawyer into the pot of familial boiling stew specifically to ease the emotional stress, and all I’m getting is the recipe fed back to me in soft and soothing legal tones.
I know the recipe–I’m the one who gave it to them. I want to eat the stew! I need a lawyer who can cook! Too many cooks, it seems, can easily spoil the broth and the head chef is hellbent on making a souffle without eggs.
Forget the cabin in the woods, I’ll take a cave. I’ll take along boxes of books and my laptop (hopefully I’ll find a cave within wireless range) and read and write the rest of my life away. It’s all just getting to be too much to deal with and maintain some semblence of faith.
My heart goes out to you. Would there be room for two in your cave? I would be very, very quiet. :o)

You are of course welcome. Two writers writing and reading–what could be better?
Okay. :o) I’m going spelunking. When I find the perfect cave I’ll let you know.
