WRITING: Creative Flow

Remember how "eloquently" I posted that bit about creativity returning via "swallowing the muse?" 

Well, follow the metaphor out to its inevitable conclusion and you’ll see where I stand creatively the last few days. 

I think the idea of trying to meet deadline was what forced some effort.  Now, with that deadline unsuccessfully past, I’m back to my old procrastinating self.  Heck, I’ve got six months to go before another otto issue is due.  I miss the strict deadlines of my college days.  I’d obviously make a horrendous teacher because I’m a pushover for extensions both to others as well as myself.  Mañana is my mantra.
