Ahah! A thought to be considered…
Over the holidays I plan to do some renovating here at Spinning as well as the Narratives’ literary journal site, otto, and the devil spawn of a writer’s brain, Talespinning, Pseudohyperfiction, etc. Since I won’t be busy unwrapping presents, I should have plenty of time.
As Spinning has moved into the direction of literature and writing more heavily, the fewer Reality entries caused by both desire to limit the personal revelations as well as the decided lack of digestible fodder created a bit of a quandry as to whether they need be in there at all, even disguised in metaphorical terms.
But there may be a way to reconcile this. Spinning is primarily a writer’s weblog. Currently I am seeking employment as a writer if possible. Rare if at all are there positions open for "Fiction Writer Wanted." And, despite my old thinking that non-fiction and creative writing cannot be approached in the same manner, if I offer reality instead under a category entitled "Non-Fiction" it would fit in better with Spinning’s objectives, and cover my ass as well.
What can I say. I’m obviously stalling the need to go out to a very cold workshop barn.
