WRITING: Pseudohyperfiction

Probably time to get laid in Powerpoint.

I have four short-short stories that inter-relate, and one is completely finished, one is near, and the other two are very close.  Just realized however, that allowing the stories to flow without controlling them they have stuttered because the relationship wasn’t clear by way of character and narrator.  Once this pattern was established, names may need be changed and the stories should self-finish since the plot structure is in mind.

Then the "links," in this case, merely emboldened words that tie the minds and memories together, need be checked for proper flow.

How do you feel about Ayn Rand?

I realize that has nothing to do with your resolutions about short stories, but with a new Border’s in my neighborhood, thought I might as well ask.

I haven’t read her, but I think I have one of her books buried here somewhere. Shall we read her together?

I keep picking up and putting down “Atlas Shrugged.” I think I know about her from reputation. The whole objectivism philosophy? Very selfish, so it’s almost not proper to investigate. Yet the book was damn popular, so I just want to know.

I don’t know if I can keep up with you, but I’ll get the book this week. 🙂
