So the first expression of creativity was a dismal failure. Why? Because I just refuse to follow directions. It’s a personal thing with me; figuring I can jump ahead some steps in my frenzy to learn something new in a hurry.
I kept losing the e in Peace and found I had moved it to the end to make it Pacee. Because the tutorial doesn’t expect you to take two stairs at a time (and it also expects you to use the word they give you as an example, but I figured I’d be that much further ahead if it worked and I’d have my own title done) they don’t specify fix-its such as: "If you screwed up and somehow clicked or dragged something and moved it out of place, yadda, yadda, yadda…"
I’m a learn as you go type, but then again, I’m into the theory of paths and directions. I just don’t bother keeping a running list of where I’ve been so I can’t get back. Therefore, once I’d made a holy mess of it, I admitted it would be easier to start over and deleted the file.
So I’m back to square one–but with a little experience now and I’m still gonna use my own word.
