Delirium is not quite new media perhaps, but just as this Cirque du Soleil onstage presentation uses new media effects it could be a base of ideas in creating a new media digital format of the show.
It has been a while since I’ve been to any shows, longer since the few I’ve seen off Broadway. But this looks like an exciting all sense-involving experience that I would really love to see. It’s only here in Harford for two days (the website has tour informaion) so I’m not likely to go. But this is something I wish they’d make available in DVD format, although something like this cannot be enjoyed in the same way with the intensity that being there offers.
