Just downloaded a new test program from Storytron called SWAT (’cause with that name, I thought I was gonna get to carry a big stick and move on some creepy creatures) so that is what is going to be taking up some of my time. That, along with Afternoon, A Story, The Watchmaker, and Book and Volume, all in the new media department. SWAT is the beginnings of an authoring tool that I’m getting excited about.
On the more traditional side, I’m still reading Ethics, Hypertext 3.0, and Love in the Time of Cholera, as well as catching up here and there on the lit journal backlog of Glimmertrains, Confrontations, Ploughsharesies, and Prairie Schooners. And, Barthes’ S/Z may be in today’s mail and will be started immediately in conjunction with my Flash8 and SWAT and Hypertext 3.0 readings.
Life could be good if things like people didn’t bug me.
