And too hot to eat. We’ve even made pizza on the outdoor grill. But for this third or fourth scorcher in a row, I’ve prepared some hot weather food. Ready when the hungry mood strikes. We have potato salad and a great pot of gazpacho and salad with freshly killed lettuce and flat stringbeans. I’d have made a maccaroni salad too, but the carbs are the problem for the man, and we both like potato salad better. Felt like baking a couple of chocolate squash breads, but I don’t know how they’d work out on the grill–even a Weber gas type–and there’s no way the oven is going on in this house.
Told the man; if the air conditioner ain’t workin’, neither is the stove.
