…that you can’t quit coffee cold turkey? The doctor tells me that you can have withdrawal. So I’m vacillating between changing what I drink in the shop vs. at home, and going decaf first and gradually into Postum, Piro, or some sort of caffeine-free tea.
Well, we’ll see what that accomplishes in the next two weeks.
No kidding? That explains why I’ve felt like hell and a half the last few days. I’ve been trying to cut back on my caffeine intake (because it’s wreaking havoc on my skin) and I feel like I’m dying. Meanwhile, I had one sip of coffee today and nearly instantly felt better.

Yeah, try mixing half and half regular with decaf and wean yourself from there. I’m not fussy about flavor (I’ve thawed out a frozen mug of coffee three days old and drank it) so I can move to Postum or Pero (Piro?) which I think is made from chicory and is decaf, but instant only.
I’m not fussy about flavour, either. I’ll have to give it a go.
What about just drinking less and less?
