Revising, revising and revising some more, a short story with a Monday night deadline and I’ve got a lotta work yet to do.
Designed a cover, a book jacket really, as part of the project and since I just decided to do this yesterday, all I had time to do was go through my photo file and photoshop something that looked halfway appropriate to the story. Jim’s blue clay mask won out. Of course the cover now looks like some kind of horror story should be inside so that’s part of the rewriting as well. Easier for me to write to suit the cover than to attempt to make up a new design. And the story was a bit of a nasty one to start.
It’s fun, and I thrive on deadlines, though my stress level appears to be at explosive if stirred right now. Just hoping that I get it all done by tomorrow night.
Wow, you’re braver than I am. All I was doing yesterday was a little tweaking.
I try not to race deadlines. It’s just too hard on my heart. 🙂
