I’m diligently working away on the Clockwork Orange project, having discovered the method of seeking bits of film and marking them for showing, and using Word for the text portion, embellished by a Munchkin audio file.
Also made a movie! Short, dumb, but combining a couple images with text, having discovered Windows Movie Maker while scouting out a system for working on the Clockwork Orange project. While it won’t work for my purposes on that, I’ve already selected one of my poems, Recycling, and am collecting some images and a certain munchkin as reader. It’ll be more or less a Flash 8 for Dummies learning step that will at least get me started in the direction of new media which I’m planning for a grouping of my related stories in Flash, having already set them up for hyperfiction in the last issue of otto.
A large doe walks through the backyard, oblivious to the damp drizzle of the day. A bright ball of red on the bare birch tree turns out to be a cardinal staring me down over the empty feeder.
Odd it seems (love the accusation of being syntactically incorrect, now I even make an effort to be so) that in scanning my poems looking for one maleable to the new media format, I read and wonder to myself, just what the hell did I mean?
The local grocery store has lots of bird feed.
