Okay so I gave in to the need (desire) for a camcorder but did some homework and found a slightly better one for about the same dollar amount. I figure I’ll be doing some playing around in new media after the holidays since I tend to slow down in the frameshop after I’ve collapsed on Christmas Eve. I tell customers that I’m sort of “closed for inventory” unless something is really needed. Then I show them the boxes of nails and screws to count. They believe me.
But then, just when I was ready to tell el esposo not to buy me anything for Christmas because of the camcorder, I bought myself something else: a fax machine. After waiting a month to get info from my lawyer through the mail, and sick of him asking me if I have a fax, I decided not to give him any more excuses.
Well the camcorder is definitely for my new media work, but I’ve already started drawing to replace the ‘borrowed’ photo images in Recycling.
