It’s not you. The truth has become very difficult to sift out of all the dross we’re presented with in the world today. Just think about it — the number of people who apparently don’t even accept the theory of evolution. Americans, educated in public schools. I find that alone staggering.
Faith is difficult to overcome, and theory is often loaded with holes that ask for as much faith as ever to accept. In this day of not trusting anyone or anything, when something’s proven “right” to be recalled later as false, people tend to hold onto what’s gotten them through so far. Trust God or trust man–not such an easy choice.
