REALITY?: Despair

I’ve lost my mother’s wedding band which I have worn for four years now.

I feel like throwing up.

    I’m so sorry! That would crush me. I wear one that used to be my mom’s too. I just don’t know what I’d do if I lost it.

    Thank you, Barbara. I feel as if I’ve just lost my parents all over again. I know that memories can’t be lost, but the physical presence of that ring meant so much.

    Thank you, Rethabile. No, I haven’t, even with the use of a metal detector outside going through the grass with my fingers. I’m heartbroken.
