Yay! I fixed it! All on my own, thank you very much. No offers of help poured in–not even a drizzle so either we have a case here of that "distancing" that I was alluding to as far as feeds are concerned and this just proved my theory, or nobody saw the posts beyond 2004 or cared.
This little glitch in the system took yesterday and all of today’s computer time, so no reading or creative output was in the cards. Just for my own notes, I believe what fixed the feed problem was adding the rss 2.0 and atom feeds into the templates–though I put them in as modules first and when that didn’t work, put them in as index templates.
Now I’m working on a FTP situation–something I’ve never done before–because Cindy has so generously made up some MP3 files for me for the new media project. But this time I went direct to a computer guy for help after trying to figure it out for myself for half a night. Should work, and I’ve just learned something new.
I experimented with an RSS feed reader once, but for some reason let it lapse. Hopefully it works for you.
I just manually click.
