Okay, I get it. Even though 100 Years of Solitude was in fact a selection of Oprah’s Book Club, I’m a bit late.
So what am I supposed to be reading now?

Get a hold of Coonce-Ewing…he has my copy of the English Patient. Now there’s a book and a half.
What ever you wish. :o)
Thank you for the suggestions, folks, and I must admit that this post was a bit tongue-in-cheek out of frustration. I do not need to be a polished literary weblog when I grow up I suppose, and I do not need to partake of the current club reading. I am truly more geared just to share my impressions without claim to expertise of opinion or style of review.
I shall, as suggested, read what I want, and The English Patient does sound like an excellent choice to add to my list.
