Man, I just don’t have the heart for this. I’ve been fiddling all day, in and out of the game, stopping just short of entering the hallway where I met my doom the first time around. I’ve saved three copies of the game to this point in case I again don’t survive the encounter. I’ve gone back into an earlier version and walked around town picking up things I’ve missed in case the clues could help me in the current version so that I don’t have to go back.
But, I can’t bring myself to walk out that door and into the hall.
My heart starts pounding, my breathing is quick and shallow. I…I…I…can’t go out there!
