Got a bunch of stuff to do this weekend, and cannot afford the luxury of taking meandering paths. Might need to hover above the maze in a helicopter and touch down here and there.
Besides rushing to get a few frames done in the shop today, I’ve got my statistics book to study for an early Monday morning exam. I’ve also brought in some New Media information to do something on a project of a remake of “Little Red Cap” to help move that along, and yes, I’ve brought in that story I’m working on although I’ve decided it’s just not ready for the deadline this week, and needs a lot more work. I’m going to (between putting frames together) read it aloud, and see if the voice problem becomes more evident. Very often we’re so used to reading something to ourselves in our head that it becomes the “norm” and doesn’t evidence the obvious flaws. This often happens when we read over our own work and allow the same typos to go unnoticed.
Should be a productive day.
