My plan was to surprise you with a photograph of the backyard today, in place of my usual morning word pictures.
Unfortunately, I kind of have some idea of how to write, but not a clue on how to use the camera. I figured that all I really have to do is aim and shoot, but lights flashed, buzzers sounded, I got scared and shut it off and hurried back into the house to find the manual. (I learn best by trial and error, hope to learn from mistakes rather than memorize the meanings and the purpose to each setting, twist and push of buttons.)
So now I know. The batteries sat unused and now must be replaced.
And only this, since tangling with the real world only drained creative imagery from my brain: The sky was white. The trees and grass were green. A lot of birds flew by.
