REALITY?: Forming Memories

A personal, good feeling thing I’d like to share:

My sister just returned from a week up north of watching her three grandchildren while their dad is in training sessions down south and their mom works hard at both taking classes and teaching them. This niece and family were down here at Easter, and 6-year old Leif went off on a woods-walk with my husband.

He enjoyed it very much, he told my sister, and recounted how he jumped across a stream, but “Uncle Jimmy walked over it, because Uncle Jimmy doesn’t jump.”

Well, child, you ought to see how Uncle Jimmy skips.
