WRITING: Showers of Inspiration

I’m finding that there are many more secret shower-inspired writers among us, so I’ve not been all that strange in so many of my postings that referred to this subject. Danny of Everyday Matters just posted last week on this very topic.

So who’s going to be the genius next-millionaire who comes out with a computer for your shower, huh? Of course they can do it—who’dve thought you could take pictures underwater, and look at what Jacques Costeau (God rest his soul) and every snorkeling tourist has done since then.

I’m tired of running out of the shower when I’m halfway done to run dripping to the office den to type. We all have our established shower routines, you know, shampoo and cream rinse, then wash your face, and so on. With my current bout of creativity, it’s been way too long since I’ve shaved my legs.

(NOTE: The WRITING: Dialogue posting below is more than halfway based on reality, I’ll be honest about that. But when you take the above into consideration, I have a feeling that the problem that plagues our marital bed may soon be taken care of all by itself.)

Oh, I would be so very ready for a shower computer. Think of the multitasking capabilities.
